Carola is a Research Assistant at the German Institute of Human Nutrition. She began her endeavors at the Central Institute for Nutrition* as a technician in 1975 (*after the reunion of East and West Germany ‘German Institute of Human Nutrition’). Carola is an expert on indirect calorimetry, bomb calorimetry, telemetry, feeding behavior studies and climate chamber experiments at the German Institute of Human Nutrition and therefore closely interacts with NEON. In particular she is supporting Petra Wiedmer with her animal research studies.
