Diego joined the Tschoep Lab group in October of 2004. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Vigo, Spain. His scientific interest is focused in the influence of gastrointestinal hormones such as GLP-1 or ghrelin in the control of energy balance and peripheral metabolism by the central nervous system.
