Henriette Kirchner

Henriette graduated in 2005 from Friedrich-Schiller-Universitaet Jena with a degree in Nutritional Science and specialization in disease related malnutrition. In order to complete her knowledge in nutritional diseases, Henriette moved to Syracuse, NY to work in obesity research at Upstate Medical University. Here, she researched the regulation of energy homeostasis. After receiving a stipend from the Leibnitz-Graduierten-Kolleg, Henriette moved to Cincinnati, OH where she joined the Tschoep lab in March 2007. She is currently writing her PhD in collaboration with the German Institute of Nutritional Research (DIFE).
