Matthias Clemens

Matthias studied Nutritional Science at the University of Potsdam. Currently, he is conducting research at the German Institute for Human Nutrition by studying ghrelin deficiency in a diet induced obese mouse model where his work is mentored by Petra Wiedmer. Matthias is interested in the interrelations between nutrition and individual genetic background and hopes to further pursue this subject in the future; perhaps even in human studies. Together with working for his diploma thesis, Matthias cooperates with the Nutritional Counseling Center of the German Institute for Human Nutrition.
