Psychiatric Patient Care & Treatment

The University of Cincinnati has several programs offering exceptional psychiatric care and treatment.

University Psychiatric Services provides specialized services to children, adolescents, families, couples and adults who are experiencing difficulties due to stress, emotional or behavioral problems, loss or other life events.

The Cognitive Disorders Center, also an outpatient unit, serves individuals with known or suspected cognitive disorders and related psychological, behavioral, academic or occupational difficulty.

University Hospital Psychiatric Services include the Psychiatric Emergency Service, three inpatient units, and a consultation-liaison service.

The University Institute for Psychiatry & Law provides comprehensive forensic services throughout the United States, and the UC Physicians Weight Management Program offers an opportunity for control of overeating through cutting-edge pharmacological treatment.
