    Research/Clinical Interests:

  • Dr. Mossman's academic activities include teaching physicians, law students, and attorneys about the interface between psychiatry and the law. In his clinical practice, Dr. Mossman treats adults and children and performs evaluations that are used in legal proceedings.

    Dr. Mossman's current scholarly projects investigate prediction of aggression, civil commitment, assessing competence to stand trial, and mathematical methods for evaluating assessments by mental health experts.
