Research Opportunities
There are a myriad of research opportunities in both departments. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience offers both Clinical and Basic Research opportunities.
The Department of Family and Community Medicine also has a burgeoning Research Division with many enthusiastic investigators heavily engaged in numerous primary care research projects.
Both departments welcome resident participation in research, but it is not required as a part of each resident's scholarly activity. Our current residents and past graduates have engaged in a number of research projects and produced articles in a number of journals.
