The Cincinnati Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center provides surgical, medical and psychiatric services to eligible veterans in the Tristate region. The hospital is key surgical referral center for central Ohio and primary teaching affiliate for UC's College of Medicine.
Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience faculty members staff the Lindner Center of HOPE, which is affiliated with UC Health and the UC College of Medicine. It is a free-standing mental health center in Mason, Ohio, which provides care for individuals suffering with mental illness.
University Hospital is home to the only level-1 adult trauma center and adult heart transplant program in Hamilton County. The 650-bed hospital is the primary teaching hospital for UC's College of Medicine.
